Did Nora make the right choice in the end?

I finished it last night and I keep going back and forth. Part of me wanted her to stay in one of the “better” lives. Did the ending feel earned to you, or too neat?

   Earned, for me. Every life she tried taught her something the root life needed. Staying anywhere else would have meant living someone else’s story.

   I thought it was a little tidy, but I think that’s the point. It’s a book about hope, and hope is allowed to be tidy sometimes.
